The ideal candidate would have good computer skills, and be very dependable. If might be useful if you have worked as a courier or delivery driver. Other than that and a good attitude, we will train you to do the rest.
• Transport residents to regularly scheduled destinations and for scheduled activities as established by the Activities Department.
• Accomplishes transportation errands and related tasks as requested by administration.
• Is responsible for conducting vehicle cleaning duties as assigned and needed.
• Is responsible for maintaining facility vehicles in accordance with established standards. Report all maintenance and repair issues.
• Maintains dress and grooming that reflects the dignity of University Village.
• Interacts respectfully and cooperatively with residents and staff.
• Assists in the effective and efficient operation of the community and participates in relevant facility activities.
Qualifications:
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• MUST POSSESS CALIFORNIA CLASS B DRIVER LICENSE and demonstrate good driving skills. Must have no traffic violations for the past two years.
• Ability to think quickly and act appropriately in emergency situations.
• FBI and DOJ criminal record clearance.

Silverado Stages is a high quality, growing transportation company headquartered in San Luis Obispo, with operations in Sacramento, Santa Barbara and now Long Beach. We offer a variety of services including, but not limited to: group charters, tours, fixed route, airport transfers, over the road tours, and shuttles.
The deliveries are made in our company van. The route starts in Ventura, goes through Los Angeles and returns. The typical day is completed by 7:30 am, however, if you are talented in helping out in the bakery, there is a possibility for additional work.
You should have familiarity with LA streets. You must have a good driving record. You must speak English. Accuracy and promptness are critical for the job.
The driving potion of the job pays $9/hour. Work in the bakery, if any, pays $8 / hour.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
• Experience in a shipping environment
• Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 5-45 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts.
• Minimum high-school or equivalent

1) Delivering our equipment in your truck to customers for home and park parties, company picnics, and other types of scheduled events in a timely, reliable manner.
2) Loading jumps, blowers, possibly generators into your truck. Delivering, placing, inflating, anchoring and cleaning the exterior and/or interior surface as needed.
3) Obtaining the customers signatures on the Rental Contract and Liability Waiver. Explaining the Rental Contract and/or Liability Waiver and collecting the fee from the customer.
4) Picking up the units and reloading the unit with the accompanying items and returning and off loading at our location. Delivery locations are usually in the city and surrounding communities but may, from time to time, extend to out-lying locations.
We are will to train the right person for the job!!!!
Deliveries and pick-ups are typically completed from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Parties usually span a four to eight hour period.
Compensation is paid at a fixed rate for each delivery which includes pick-up. Compensation is based on each piece of equipment plus an allowable milage expense reimbursement.
Candidates:
MUST be at least 18 years of age
MUST have an outgoing and congenial personality and enjoy dealing with the public,
especially children.
MUST be capable of moving, assisted by a moving dolly, equipment weighing a minimum of 225 lbs.
MUST have a valid drivers license with no restrictions.
MUST provide proof of insurance and permit our company to be named (at our expense) as additionally insured on the insurance policy.
Drivers vehicle MUST be mechanically reliable with fully functional breaks and tires.
