Overview: Up for sale is this really incredible oil painting on canvas board, depicting a blazing war scene of Operation Desert Storm in which the American forces battled to liberate Kuwait from the invading Iraqi army. The painting was painted by Bill Paxton, a listed Lewiston, Maine artist well-known for his works depicting trains. Painting is unframed. Painting is signed at lower left. It titled and perhaps dated on verso, "Kuwait Operation Desert Storm 1991." I'm not sure if this was painted in 1991 or simply memorializes that the operation took place that year. A very cool and rare war scene.
Condition: Painting is in excellent condition.
Measurements: Painting measures 10 inches wide x 8 inches high.
