Overview: Up for sale is an exquisite lithograph by acclaimed Vietnamese/French master, Hoi Lebadang (1921-2015). Lebadang emigrated to France from Vietnam and fought with the French resistance in WWII. He later took up lithography and his art has been met with worldwide acclaim. This piece is a lithograph on artist's paper entitled, "Horses In The Wind." It depicts a semi-abstract scene of two horses on a windy plain. It also includes examples (at upper right and bottom left) of Hoi's trademark intaglio embossing work featuring two small scenes of horses and mountains. It is pencil-signed "Lebadang" at lower right and numbered 104/250 at lower left. Print is nicely matted and framed under glass.
Condition: Print is in excellent condition. Matting has minor toning. Frame is in very good condition with a number of scuffs.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 30 inches high x 20.75 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 39.5 inches high x 30.5 inches wide.
