Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic etching by listed California artist, Lois Carlisle (1931-2010). Carlisle is well-known for her etchings, particularly of carousel horses. This print depicts a carousel zebra from the famed Balboa Park in San Diego, California. Incredible piece. Signed, numbered (33/100), titled and dated (1986) in pencil in the lower margin. Nice intaglio flourishes and archway matting. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from the artist.

Condition: Etching is in excellent condition. Frame shows a number of scuffs and nicks.

Measurements: Etching measures 13.5 inches high x 11.5 inches wide. Matting measures 14 inches high x 13 inches wide.
