Overview: Up for sale is this a lovely oil painting on stretched canvas by listed San Diego, California artist, Lois J. Simmons (1932-2020). Ms. Simmons was a fantastic artist known for her figural works. She had her own gallery in San Diego, and has numerous auction records. This piece is incredibly-rendered, depicting a young boy bending down to pick some flowers in a lovely flower field. Excellent detail. Ms. Simmons was clearly exceptionally talented. Oil on canvas, framed in a period oak wood frame. Signed at lower right. Artist's card is affixed on back. Undated, but likely dates to the 1960's or 1970's.

Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition.

Measurements: Painting measures 24 inches high x 12 inches wide. Frame measures 26.5 inches high x 14.5 inches wide.
