Overview: Up for sale is an original color aquatint etching on artist's paper by listed Austrian artist, Luigi Kasimir (1881-1962). Kasimir was a recognized master of aquatint etchings. An Austrian artist who spent some years in the United States in the 1930's. This is an incredible example of his work, entitled "Arch of Titus" and depicts the Arch of Titus, a 1st-century honorific arch located in Rome. Pencil-signed at lower center. Undated, but this etching dates to 1923. The etching is matted and framed under glass. There is an old gallery tag identifying the artist and scene.
Condition: Print appears to be in excellent condition. Frame and matting are in very good condition.
Measurements: Image measures approximately 28.25 inches high x 19.25 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 37.5 inches high x 28 inches wide.
