Overview: Up for sale is an incredible portrait oil painting on board depicting a distinct native figure (possibly Pacific or Caribbean islander or possibly African in origin). This piece was painted by Kathy Colman (1939-2023), a prolific and talented artist from Agoura Hills, California. I acquired this at an estate sale from the late artist's home. An absolutely fantastic piece. The detail is really stunning. Colman's art is difficult to find. Painting is signed at lower right. It does not appear to be dated, but I would estimate that it dates to the 1990s or 2000s. Framed in a lovely light brown wood frame.

Condition: Painting is in very good condition. Slight scuff at upper left corner. Frame is in excellent condition, with minor scuff at upper right.

Measurements: Painting measures 20 inches high x 16 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 25.25 inches high x 21.25 inches wide.
