Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic little gem of an oil painting by listed Portuguese artist, Virgilio Costa (b.1897). Costa is well-known for his colorful palette-knife style of oil paintings. A really cool little piece that depicts colorful sailboats in a harbor. Signed at lower left. Undated, but likely dates to the 1950s or 1960s. Nicely framed in a two-toned midcentury style frame.

Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition.

Measurements: Painting measures 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. Frame measures approximately 13 inches wide x 10.5 inches high.
