This is a beautiful antique hand-tufted and embroidered candlewick bedspread characterize by its decorative raised pattern. It was created by a technique called candlewicking.
The spread featues an off white base fabric adorned with intricated design in various shades of pink. The pattern includes bow-like motifs ,diamond shapes, and elegant dotted swags, and is all crafted from soft tufted yarn. Great handmade quality all done by my Grandmother. It was made for a full size bed, but is large enough for a Queen.
Condition is EXCELLENT and very clean.
