I know as well as you do, when you have the itch to, you just have to go! The wind is blowing 15-20 knots, the sun is out, and the Noaa marine forecast is looking good! You call all your normal sailing buddys but no ones available. You ask the wife if she is willing to go, but we all know that answer. We say hunny I just need you to steer while I bring up the sails! Unfortunatly it doesn't happen. You contemplate going out single handing the boat. But you are getting older, and can't move around like you used to. The spirit is still their, but bringing that main down by yourself, flaking the sail, tying up bowlines etc.... is just a big pain in the ass all alone.
I have experience sailing in good to bad conditions. I can heave to, I can reef, I can tie bowlines, I am 6'4, 195 LBS, and I am offering to help you out on your boat for a reasonable price. If you need someone to call and help out while you bring passengers. I have a clean appearance. I dont do drugs or drink, I am down to earth on my way to getting my captains license, trying to earn some money getting off of the DAMN COMPUTER and being out there in the ocean more.
I like being in high pressure situations. I control the throttle of my boat by hanging off the back, and twisting the out board throttle. While holding onto the wheel with my foot. Because I am restoring a free boat that was given to me. I singlanded my boat after going sailing twice. I was raised on the beach, and have many many sketchy trips under my belt in my dads aluminum V-Hull. My first job was as a pinhead on the sportfishing boats out of ciscos. I can see wind switches, and read weather coming. If you would like to meet me, give me a call or text me.
I am willing to crew on your boat for a reasonable cost. Heck even if its day laborer costs.
