The wooden calendar is 24" high x 10" wide. are three dolphins on the top playing in the water and one dolphin at the bottom underneath the water. The top dolphins hold the collectible plate for each month of the year. The dated tiles slip into the calendar. This is a perpetual calendar meaning that it can be used forever. You set it up yourself for each month. The one in the picture is set up for May. There are extra tiles with special holidays on them. Each one has a picture of a fish on it. There are also blank tiles to fill in spaces. The set includes 12 collectible porcelain plates. Each one is 6 1/2" diameter. One for each month of the year. The plate slips into the top of the calendar. Each plate is numbered and listed with The Bradford Exchange Each one has a water scene on it - marine life, sunsets.
