This large piece of pink halite was collected last year from Searles Lake in Trona, California. It is 15 inches long and 11 inches wide. The top is covered in tons of halite crystals. One of the neat things about this piece is that the color graduates from light pink all the way up to a dark pink that sort of boarders on being 'cranberry' in color. The color comes from bacteria and algae that got trapped in the crystals as they grew. The bottom is flat enough for it to sit nicely without any support making it easy to display.

Price is $150, cash only. I can make it available for pickup at the parking lot of Target on the westside of Simi (Madera and Los Angeles/Tierra Rejada). Feel free to email me if you're interested.
