Extremely original 1972 Chevy Suburban C20 3-door 2WD barn door "Blue Plate" California Car with original 402 (6.6L) big block motor and original 3-speed automatic. $24,900 or best offer. This is a 2WD 3/4 Ton model (as per the 8 lug wheels). Hagerty suggests a nationwide average value for the smaller 307 cu-in version lies between good ($15,700) and excellent ($32,000) and so this car is priced quite fairly considering it has the larger engine option, uncommon rear barn doors (as I was told), and may have never driven down a salted road. The truck is stored at a remote location near Riverside and so can only show to seriously interested perspective buyers and will need to schedule with you up to a week in advance. To avoid listing my phone number (for obvious reasons), please email me with your phone number, include some information about yourself that will let me know you are a real person, and I will call you back. Note that the small auto-hauler trailer is not included with the sale.

Details: This is very well preserved, has almost all original parts including stock front disk brakes and original carb (or correct type for this model year). With the sale I'll including the original wheels. The seats have certainly been re-upholstered and floor carpets replaced and are in very good condition. Purchased in 2010, the truck has been garaged for last 14 years or possibly longer if we consider previous owners.

The Engine is the original 402 cu-in big block with original automatic transmission, though you will need to independently check and confirm the engine and transmission serial numbers (or let me know where I can find them to photograph if you want me to do it). Fully running and functional, tires are probably 6-7 years old but are in almost unused condition and spent extremely few (really few...) days in the open sunlight. Less than 5000 miles added in the 14 years I've owned the truck; the odometer shows 31,536 miles though certainly it's flipped over. As an original California car, almost no rust on the bottom except 1-2 spots related to how rain water was channeling off the car. I do have some pics of the underside that I can share with seriously interested buyers. Hoping this car can go to a buyer that will appreciate and take advantage of how original and nicely kept this car is.
