Pacific Stoneworks and Tile is a custom fabrication and installation company specializing in natural stone and engineered surfaces.
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented team member for our CNC Programming position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage digital slab layouts using 3D Horus software.
• Perform vein matching and slab optimization to ensure aesthetic alignment and minimize material waste.
• Generate 3D renderings for project visualization and client approval when required.
• Prepare and program files for CNC machines and water jet used in stone fabrication.
• Review templates and drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Organize and prepare production files for the shop floor.
• Coordinate with the templating, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain digital records of slab inventories, layouts, and job files.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and adjust layouts as needed to optimize production.
• Follow company quality standards and production schedules.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience in stone fabrication programming or a similar CNC programming role.
• Understanding of CNC machining processes and file preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and templates.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CAD/CAM software used in stone fabrication.
• Knowledge of CNC stone cutting machines and fabrication workflow.
• Proficiency with Horus software (preferred) or similar stone layout/CNC programming platforms.
• Knowledge of vein matching, slab layouts, and stone fabrication processes.
