The Samsung Gear VR (Powered by Oculus) is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung in collaboration with Oculus (now Meta). It launched in 2015 as a consumer-friendly VR experience, using compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphones as the display and processor.
While it was highly regarded as a high-quality mobile VR solution, it has since been discontinued, with official support ending around 2020–2021.

Powered by Oculus: The software and app store (Oculus Home) are managed by Oculus, providing a similar experience to the Oculus Go.
