Assistant Chef – Westlake Village

Pay: Up to $28.00/hr (+bonus)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (40–45 hrs, includes weekends & holidays)
Location: 966 South Westlake Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361

The Stand Restaurants is a fast-growing, fast-casual group with 20+ locations across California and Texas. We’re passionate about redefining American classics and creating a supportive, team-oriented workplace. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Chef to join our Westlake Village team and help lead our kitchen to success.

What You’ll Do:

• Train and mentor kitchen staff
• Oversee prep, production, and food quality
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and budgets
• Run multiple stations: grill, fry, salads, expo
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous restaurant kitchen management experience
• *At least 1-2 years in a management role (fast-casual or casual preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be 18 or older
