Have recessed (can) lighting? You can easily convert to low voltage lighting with this retrofit kit to convert it from 120V to 12V. This not only saves on energy, but it also allows you to direct a focused light beam WHERE YOU WANT IT, giving a much more dramatic effect (see room scene -- you can't do this with regular downlights!). We LOVED how this light brought out the beauty of our floor in a hallway, and we hate to give it up, but we wanted more light during the day, so we replaced it with a Solatube, but we're hanging onto the rest of our low voltage lighting. The Elco low voltage retrofit kit is in absolutely perfect condition - just as brand new.
Converting to low-voltage lights offers major benefits like significant energy savings, longer bulb life, improved light quality/versatility (dimming, color), reduced heat, enhanced safety (less shock risk), and a sleek, modern look, making them a more efficient, convenient, and aesthetically pleasing lighting solution for homes and businesses.
This design is ideal for sloped ceilings or for converting general downlighting into accent lighting with a fixed, but adjustable, position.
Low-voltage directional lights highlight a room by creating focused beams (10-30 degrees) to accent art, architecture (coves, columns), or furniture, adding depth with shadows.
