Neocaridina davidi (otherwise known as Cherry Shrimp) are peaceful freshwater shrimp. They are excellent at controlling algae and eating leftover fish food. They often thrive in established fish tanks as they will seek out algae and uneaten food. Care should be taken when selecting tank mates since many fish prey on shrimp and shrimplets. These shrimp are tank bred and share the tank with panda Corydora and Celestial Pearl Danio fry. These Cherry Shrimp are high quality red. Females are solid red with red legs. Males are not as solid colored as females. They look great in planted tanks and are fun to watch!
