Lot of 13 Vintage Signed Photographs of High-Ranking US Military Officers - WWII Era & Beyond. This exceptional lot features 13 vintage black and white photographs of distinguished US military officers, many of which appear to be hand-signed. These photographs offer a glimpse into the leadership of the US Armed Forces during the World War II era and potentially extending into the mid-20th century.
A lot of the signatures are hard to make out and I am not sure who everyone is. The photos are in good condition for their age some are faded and some have some small rips/tears and stains around the edges. They are unique pictures and would be a great home decor piece for someone who collects antiques or has frames that they would go well in. Great to be pieced out individually and sold for a profit especially if you do your research on the subjects.

Eddy The officer on the left is Lieutenant General Manton Sprague Eddy (May 16, 1892 – April 10, 1962), a senior United States Army officer. He served in World War I and World War II, commanding the 9th Infantry Division and later the XII Corps.Brigadier General Clyde A. Selleck The officer on the right, whose photograph is inscribed with "John W. Selleck," is likely Brigadier General Clyde A. Selleck (1888-1981). He commanded the 71st Division during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines in World War II. Historical records and photographs match the appearance and career of Clyde A. Selleck in the context of a contemporary of Manton S. Eddy. Colonel Glen F. Jenks, who served as the Commanding Officer of Watertown Arsenal from 1932 to 1937. Brigadier General Hugh B. Hester.
