Very cool Antique White Rotary Sewing Machine and Cabinet with Cast Iron Base Restoration Project. Whether you sew, or are looking for a neat little entryway table or decorative table for your house, this unrefurbished sewing machine cabinet is an amazing and unique addition for your home! It does not seem to work and looks like it needs a tighter belt and/or need some additional work for it to be used as intended. The sewing machine needs to be better attached/bolted to the base and it comes out of the base when you close it and makes it difficult to open but sits fine when opened up.

It has beautiful turn of the century hand carved wood motifs and details. The drawers have solid wood drawer pulls and have accessories including a owner's manual / directions for use. The cabinet itself is in good condition with beautiful quarter sewn tiger oak grain. It has some wear, chips in the paint, rust, scratches/scuffs, and could use a good cleaning. You could also just removed the wood pieces attached to the frame and use it without it. The folding wood table top extender automatically raised the sewing machine up when opened by the use of a wire and pully. It is very innovative and unique.

The vintage worn wood grain blend seamlessly with the industrial mechanical treadle mechanism. This vintage white wooden sewing machine cabinet on a cast iron base has not been refinished for the optimal rustic vibe and would look great in a cabin, farm, farmhouse, country store, cottage, Etc. The cast iron base is in solid condition but could use a good cleaning. It could be painted.

Look for the measuring tape for scale and pictures for condition. It could be refinished. It would also look great if the top was replaced with a slab or reclaimed or live edge wood. Perfect gift. Today the use of treadle-powered machines is mostly relegated to hobbyists and historical re-enactors, as well as in areas of the developing world where other forms of power remain unavailable.

Approximate Dimensions: D:17.75", L:33.5" or 51" extended, H:30.75" or 39" w/ the sewing machine out
