Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Apply various modalities under the direction of the physical therapist.
- Assist the front office with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and taking payments as needed.
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is a plus
- Ability to provide excellent patient service and care
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good team member and customer service skills
Prior experience or familiarity with working in a healthcare environment is preferred, but not required.
