The Human Resources Clerk will provide administrative, clerical, and compliance support to the Human Resources and Compliance teams. This role ensures accurate record keeping, supports employee lifecycle processes, assists with safety and training documentation, and maintains strict confidentiality while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Generate, maintain and update employee personnel files (hardcopy and electronic).
• Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding, including packet preparation and document collection.
• Updates Payroll and HR tracking spreadsheets (i.e. attendance, AAP, employee status changes, calendars, training records, evacuation list, etc.).
• Responsible for company-wide communications through internal TV’s and email, including posting announcements, training schedules, safety messages, and HR-related updates.
• Supports on site company events (i.e. trainings, open enrollment, luncheons, team building events, etc.).
• Schedule interviews, employment verification's and HR-Compliance related trainings.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries and route issues appropriately, refers to specialist as needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain the Employment Training Panel (ETP) program, including reviewing, scanning, and auditing training records.
• Collect and review data for company supplier and customer surveys; track, follow up on, and file completed surveys from company suppliers to ensure all required documentation is received.
• Assist with documentation and communication related material transfers between company locations, including Mexico and Camarillo, ensuring records are accurate and properly filed.
• Provide back-up support for Engineering Change Notices (ECN), including preparation and follow-ups based on workload.
• Audit and manage on a monthly basis visitor badges, print replacements as needed.
• Conduct and document on a monthly basis camera audits, reporting findings per established procedures.
• Prepare and distribute Safety Committee meeting minutes, communicate updates to required parties, and verify completion of required actions.
• Coordinate monthly safety trainings, including communication, tracking completion, and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
• HS Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of HR related experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
