Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support our project management team. This role is essential in bridging the gap between the field and the office, ensuring that our demolition, grading, underground utility, and concrete projects move smoothly from pre-construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and organize project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
* Assist with the procurement of materials for underground utilities (piping, fittings) and concrete (rebar, mix orders).
* Coordinate the scheduling of specialized equipment and crew dispatches for demolition and grading phases.
* Track project progress against schedules, identifying potential delays or resource constraints.
* Communicate effectively with field superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and field team
* Process vendor invoices, track project expenses, and assist with monthly budget reports.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, preferably with exposure to civil, earthwork, or concrete projects.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and grading layouts.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle paperwork and digital files for multiple active job sites.
* Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
* Solid understanding of the fast-paced nature of self-performing heavy civil or structural work.
