We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced individual to join our construction team. Our company specializes in excavation, site preparation, precision grading, leveling, underground utility installation, and piping systems for commercial, agricultural, and greenhouse projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys solving problems in the field, and can work independently while also leading a crew when needed.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment.
Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
Install underground piping, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications.
Lead and coordinate small crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, customers, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
Experience in excavation, grading, underground utilities, or similar construction work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while taking ownership of assigned projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate crew members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus).
Experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in agricultural construction, greenhouse construction, irrigation systems, or agricultural drainage is highly desirable but not required. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
