Responsibilities:
• This position is primarily responsible for fabricating and assembling various plastic bottles, carboys, tanks, tubing and other products and component fittings to a finished product.
• Welding, bonding, bending and cutting are required and performed to customer specifications in accordance with company standards.
• Develops layout and plans sequence of operation.
• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures or clamps parts along layout marks on work table.
• Selects, marks, cuts or bends material as appropriate and/or per work order instructions.
• Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as hot air welder, mill, drill press, saws, flange forming machines, tubing benders, ultraviolet curing machine and lathe.
• Assembles, constructs, bond and/or weld components per work order.
• Record lot numbers per product/material.
• Cleans finished product with appropriate chemical or other cleaning agent as instructed.
Requirements:
• HS Diploma or GED
• 6+ months in a hands on assembly role
• Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment a plus!
•Able to read and understand drawings, ability to write legibly, good basic math skills
