Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator / Programmer to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role is critical to the production of precision billet components and requires deep hands-on experience with CNC machining, programming, and tooling. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, process optimization, and maintaining an elite production environment.

Core Responsibilities
CNC Machine Operation
- Set up, operate, and oversee CNC machines to produce parts in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Monitor machining performance and make real-time adjustments to ensure precision and consistency
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency
- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of cutting tools, fixturing, and machining strategies
- Operate and program HAAS CNC machinery with confidence and accuracy
Programming & Engineering Collaboration
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs in collaboration with internal and external engineering teams
- Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications
- Continuously refine programs to improve cycle times, accuracy, and repeatability
Quality Control & Documentation
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances
- Implement quality control processes to reduce defects and rework
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and process documentation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and waste reduction
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices
- Stay current with advancements in CNC machining, tooling, and manufacturing technology
Material & Tool Management
- Select, prepare, and maintain materials and tooling for production
- Work with inventory personnel to manage tooling and material stock levels at your station
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer
- Expert ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming
- Extensive hands-on experience with HAAS CNC machinery
- Advanced knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machining processes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
- Leadership mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
