2019 Gibson SG ‘Original, with Vibrola. Comes with original hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent to mint condition. The body is a SOLID piece of Mahogany. In my humble opinion, the quality is much better than what Gibson is using to produce the new 61 re-issues. Unless, of course if you want to spend 3 times as much for a Custom Shop.
Not a 2 piece 61 Reissue ‘Cookie Cutter’ Guitar. This is basically what a real 1961 SG is. This has the stock 57 Classic pickups and sounds as good as one would expect. The new '61' Reissue are more like a 64. The SG was called a Les Paul Special till 1963.
This is very clean. The frets are shiny and show no wear and the guitar plays cleanly and easily up and down the neck with no buzzes or dead spots with a set of D’Adario 10-46. The weight on this one is 6.8 lbs. Guitar comes in the original hard-shell case with the pictured paperwork. Low, fast action. No buzz up and down the neck. This model sounds as good as any Custom Shop that cost 2-3 times as much. It has a fairly new set of D’Adario 10-46

BUY NOW! These cost $2500 when new. When the tariffs go into effect in June, I have no doubt that new Gibsons will go up at least 30% ($300) or more. They may be built here…but where are the materials coming from?
