Exact Staff is hiring for our client and is seeking a professional Front Desk Coordinator to join a busy medical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing outstanding customer service while supporting patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience by greeting visitors, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring efficient front office operations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with routine patient inquiries.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Prepare patient paperwork prior to appointments.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorizations.
• Collect patient copays and outstanding balances at check-in and check-out.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with providers and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent front office experience in a medical office or clinic.
• Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.
• Familiarity with medical terminology; dermatology experience is a plus.
• Experience using EMR systems preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
