The position begins at approximately 35 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 40 hours and take on additional responsibilities.
Location: On-site in Newbury Park
Club Nine Pets, a growing premium pet furniture company, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to assist with daily e-commerce orders, customer service, shipping, and warehouse operations.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working on a computer as well as helping with order fulfillment and inventory in the warehouse. Accuracy is especially important because we work with major online retailers and must meet their order and shipping requirements.
Responsibilities
• Process and fulfill daily orders from multiple online sales channels, including shipping labels, package preparation, tracking, and shipping deadlines
• Respond professionally to customer questions and help manage returns, replacements, and shipping issues
• Maintain inventory spreadsheets and update product information on retailer platforms
• Assist with wholesale inquiries, customer follow-ups, and general sales support
• Help receive containers, organize inventory, and move products between two nearby warehouse locations
• Operate a forklift or be willing to learn
• Keep shipping and warehouse areas clean and organized
• Assist the owner with other administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, email, shipping software, and online portals
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Able to learn multiple e-commerce and retailer platforms
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment
• Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to approximately 30 pounds
• Previous e-commerce, order processing, shipping, customer service, or warehouse experience is preferred
• Forklift experience is helpful, but training may be provided
