Selling my Drew Technologies Opus IVS Mongoose Plus, which enables users to connect to their vehicle in order to do dealer-level GDS-2 programming and diagnostics for their Chevrolet and GM vehicles. This is ONLY an interface connector, extremely similar to the Bosch MDI2. This is NOT A CLONE of any sort, and in fact is used in dealerships as a GM factory approved JBox interface for modern vehicles.
I purchased this to trigger a relearn on a factory windshield camera on my Chevy Bolt after replacement. Everyone wanted hundreds to do it, and I figured I could do the job with this, and then have the tool at the ready, should I ever encounter an issue again. I was able to do it, in about 10 minutes (after a steep learning curve), I never needed it again, and have since sold the car.
Some things to note:
- This does not stand alone. It requires a laptop, and access to Delco TDS to be of use. Delco TDS is available to anyone for a subscription fee, or potentially through "other" means.
- Working with vehicles at this level is NOT user friendly. There are some tutorials out there to learn, but it's pretty dense.
- This also allows you to push factory software and firmware updates to your vehicle with relative ease. No more trips to the dealer.
- I am not able to train you or offer advice on this. I learned it for what I needed it for, and haven't practiced with it since, so would need to basically relearn what I knew before.
These run $600 new, and it's seen almost no use.
Also have a fully functional laptop that meets required specs for this, that I used only for this, that I'm able to include for an additional $100.
