The position entails the following:
-Read and interpret architectural drawings
-Create shop drawings using AutoCAD and related specialized cabinet software (Microvellum)
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Perform field measuring
-Coordinate cabinet production and cabinet installation with clients, fabricators, and installers
-Create and maintain excellent working relationships with new and existing clients
You will be successful in the position of Project Manager/ Cabinet Drafter if you know the following:
-Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
-3 years of full-time experience in AutoCAD
-Knowledge of Woodwork Institute drafting and quality standards
-Experience in the construction industry
-Knowledge of cabinet fabrication and installation
-Great people and phone communication skills
-Knowledge of reading and understanding bid documents
-Problem-solving skills
-Great organizational and multitasking skills
-Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
The salary range depends on experience with the company's advancement opportunity. A 401K plan is available. A high school diploma is required. Some local travel will be required with the use of a company vehicle.

Our company is a commercial cabinet and countertop manufacturer in Ventura County needing a full-time Project Manager/ Cabinet Drafter. We are willing to train motivated individuals to use the specialized cabinet design software.
Our company has been in business for over twenty years. We have engineered our manufacturing process so that high-quality cabinetry can be produced in a short period with the use of computerized machinery and highly skilled staff.
Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. The position of Project Manager/ Cabinet Drafter is a full-time position.
