Miracle Method is the nation’s largest surface refinishing company, with more than 150 locations across the United States. Our Ventura County team transforms worn bathtubs, showers, tile, sinks, countertops, and other surfaces into like-new condition without the cost and mess of replacement.
We’re growing and looking for two full-time Spray Painter / Surface Refinishing Technicians to join our team.
Already have spray experience? Great. Candidates from auto body, cabinet finishing, furniture finishing, industrial coatings, commercial painting, powder coating, marine painting, and similar trades transition exceptionally well into this role. We’ll teach you the Miracle Method products, processes, and techniques.
What You’ll Do
Every day you’ll take worn, damaged bathrooms and kitchens and transform them into beautiful finished products using professional spray equipment and proprietary coatings. You’ll see the results of your work on every job.
Responsibilities include:
* Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, caulk removal, and minor repairs.
* Spray bathtubs, showers, tile, sinks, countertops, and other surfaces using professional equipment.
* Produce consistent, high-quality finishes with exceptional attention to detail.
* Protect customer homes and businesses from overspray and maintain a clean work area.
* Perform final quality inspections before completing each project.
* Communicate professionally with homeowners and property managers.
* Maintain company tools, equipment, and work vehicle.
* Complete job documentation using our mobile app.
* Follow all safety procedures, including respirator use and proper chemical handling.
* Cross-train in cabinet refinishing as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Experience
We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in:
* Auto body painting
* Cabinet finishing
* Furniture finishing
* Industrial or commercial spray painting
* Powder coating
* Marine coatings
* Construction finishing
* HVLP spray equipment
* Any skilled trade involving surface preparation and spray application
No bathtub refinishing experience? That’s okay. If you already know how to spray and take pride in producing high-quality work, we’ll teach you our system.
Requirements
* Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Reliable transportation to our Simi Valley shop each morning.
* Ability to pass a background check.
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
* Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
* Comfortable using a smartphone for job tracking.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
