Developers - mid level up (VOIP exp. a definite plus)

As a high growth and innovative software company, we are seeking two full-time developers/software engineers with four or more years of experience on large scale projects. Members of the team will be working with others to create, design and develop features for our core products as well as develop new products.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepares complex applications programming designs
• Determines solutions to complex systems issues
• Participates in the entire life cycle of software development including requirements definition, architecture and development
specifications, coding, quality assurance testing, deployment, documentation and support
• Delivers quality code within scope and on time
• Collaborates with other developers
• Investigate reported errors in existing systems
• Provide insight regarding the design and implementation of software systems, along with estimates of effort
• Proactively continue building technological skills personally and share ideas and best practices with team members
• Report on development progress and issues including potential roadblocks
• Mentor and Guide team members
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience with Linux (CentOS/RedHat preferred)
• 4+ years of professional experience programming in C or C++
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and SQL connectivity (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, preferred)
• Experience with distributed revision control systems (GIT preferred)
• Experience using 3rd party APIs for control and operation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively with, and support the needs of, project team members
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Additional Requested and Desired Skills:
· Experience with embedded solutions
· Understanding of Voice over IP standards and protocols (SIP, SRTP, RTSP,
MGCP) Experience with open source VOIP software and platforms (FreeSWITCH,
Asterisk, OpenSips, Restcomm, Twilio)
· Experience with proprietary VOIP platforms (MS Lync, Cisco Unified Call
Manager, Avaya, Aspect)
· Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Experience in programming/scripting (Bash, PHP, Java, Perl preferred)

Network Engineer

This role will include responsibility for monitoring equipment spread across multiple sites and will require the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues as they come up while keeping the relevant stake holders informed as needed. The qualified individual will be able to work quickly and effectively to resolve problems. They will need to be able to work both independently and as part of the NOC team. This role also requires network design experience as new customer implementations will need to be created and implemented. This includes single-switch single-site projects all the way to multiple-router multiple-site projects. This role may require shift work and site visits.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, plan, build and manage customer network implementations (Large and Small scale)
• Monitor network and equipment and address issues.
• Utilizing existing systems to monitor hardware and software
• Creating new systems and methods of monitoring as needed
• Troubleshooting - following existing procedures and creating procedures as needed
• Establish baseline performance metrics
• Performing software upgrades
• Performing initial equipment configuration (servers, routers, switches, etc.)
• Creating and updating reports
• Creating and updating information on ticketing systems
The following qualifications are mandatory for all candidates:
• 2+ years relevant work experience
• Experience (2+ years) and working knowledge of JunOS
• Experience with Linux OS
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to assess problems and prioritize them accordingly
• Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
• Willingness to perform tasks off hours


The followings skills are also highly desired and are considered a plus:

• Previous NOC experience
• Linux (RHCSA, RHCE)
• Networking (Network+, CCNA, CCNP)
• Telecommunications technologies (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, 3G,LTE)


VOIP Engineer

Qualifications:

• Experience with open source VOIP software (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, OpenSips)
• 2+ years experience with Linux (CentOS/RedHat preferred)
• Experience with MS Lync, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Avaya, Aspect, etc.
• Excellent understand of network protocols, setup, and SIP standards
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Desire to develop new and build on existing skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Plus:

• Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience in programming/scripting (Bash, PHP, SQL, C/C++, Java, Perl preferred)


IT Support Technician

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills, and grow with the company while working on exciting, relevant, and global projects that bring significant value to the company.
Prospective employees must have experience with the following: Troubleshooting end-user systems' hardware and software:
• Computer Networking, including DHCP and DNS configuration, as well as physical installation of cabling and troubleshooting connections
• Documenting new and existing computer systems and topologies

Prospective employees must have experience in using, configuring, and administrating the following:
• Windows 7/10
• Windows Server 2008 and 2012
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Administrating Microsoft Office 365, including Visio
• VoIP Systems / Softphones
• Networked Printers
Experience with using or administrating any of the following items is a plus
• Enterprise networking equipment, such as Juniper or Cisco network switches
• Server hardware
• Salesforce
• Microsoft Exchange Server
• Enterprise Linux
Possession of industry-standard certifications are also a plus, such as:
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CCNA
• MCSA
• MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure)
• RHCSE

NOC Technicians

The NOC Technician will be part of the NOC and will assist in managing all monitoring and alerting responsibilities to evaluate the proper response and escalation to the Systems Analyst team as necessary. Paid in-house training.

This individual will also assist in any way possible to reduce duration of customer impact and/or loss of service.

This position will work closely with the Systems Analyst team to improve and expand monitoring capabilities and assist with reporting on system performance and capacity

• Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify problems with infrastructure systems and hardware, the application, network devices and storage

• Follow appropriate alerting procedures and resolve standard level system alerts

• Work closely with Systems Analyst team to assist in resolving production issues

• Work closely with Systems Analyst team to improve or add new monitoring and alerting capabilities

• Work with other teams to build thresholds and alerting procedures

• Follow standard Change Control process

• Follow standard Incident Management process for tracking incident occurrences and resolution

• Analyze logs to troubleshoot issues

• Prepare standard systems performance reports and provide initial analysis for potential issues

• Provide standard post release performance reports and provide analysis for any changes in key metrics

• Be part of on-call rotation
