Ventura County · [Full-time/Flexible] · $18-25/hour DOE guy
We’re a plaintiff-side law firm running a consumer class action against a motorcycle repair shop, and we need someone to talk to the riders.
Several hundred people have responded to a court-approved notice. Somebody has to call each one, hear their story, figure out what happened to their bike and their money, get them to send in their texts and invoices, and write it all down accurately. That’s this job.
You’d be a great fit if you:
• Are genuinely good on the phone — warm, quick, not thrown by a cold call or a skeptical stranger
• Are comfortable with computers and pick up new software fast
• Have actually used Claude or ChatGPT for real work
• Write clearly and take careful notes
• Know motorcycles — you ride, you wrench, or you’ve hung around shops. Big plus, not required.
• Can follow a script and know when to go off it
You don’t need a paralegal certificate or legal experience. We’ll train you on our case management system, our interview script, and the law behind it. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
What you’d do: outbound calls and texts to consumers, structured interviews, document collection through our client portal, daily database updates, social-media research to find more affected customers, and AI-assisted drafting and summarizing.
This is confidential work for real people who got taken advantage of. If you’re the kind of person who gets curious when a story doesn’t add up, you’ll like it here.
To apply: send a résumé and a few sentences on (1) the last time you talked a reluctant stranger into something, and (2) how you’ve used AI tools
